Ricardo Fayet is one of the co-founders and the Chief Marketing officer of Reedsy. On top of overseeing the marketing for all Reedsy products, he has helped hundreds of authors with their own launches and marketing campaigns, landing several of their books on the Sunday Times or Wall Street Journal bestseller lists.
He's the author of two books on marketing for authors: How to Market a Book: Overperform in a Crowded Market, and Amazon Ads for Authors: Unlock Your Full Advertising Potential, and a regular presenter at prestigious writers' conferences: NINC, AuthorNation, Pikes Peak Writers Conference, InkersCon, and The Self Publishing Show Live, among others.
He lives between Madrid and Ibiza, with his partner Sara (founder of BooksFlyer), and their dog Lenny.
Reedsy offers a suite of tools to help authors write, publish, and market their books.
On the Reedsy Marketplace, authors can connect with the world's most talented publishing professionals — from developmental editors to proofreaders, cover designers, ghostwriters, marketers, or literary translators. Search by service and genre, get free quotes, and find the perfect collaborator for your project.
Reedsy Studio is the ultimate free planning, writing, and formatting tool. Complete with outlining boards, timelines, writing goals, track changes, and export to EPUB and print-ready PDF, it is the only tool you'll ever need to use from idea inception to publication.
Finally, Reedsy Learning offers a series of online courses and events on topics ranging from outlining, writing, publishing, and book marketing. On top of its flagship How to Write a Novel course — a 3-month program taught by award-winning author, editor and ghostwriter Tom Bromley — Reedsy Learning offers a VIP membership whose members can access all events for free.
After having worked privately with dozens of authors across a great range of genres, I now dedicate almost all my time to Reedsy. That said, I am available from time to time for one-on-one consultations or hires (always through Reedsy). You can check my availability on my Reedsy profile, as well as the type of authors I typically work with.
